Brooks Aquaduct Pond

The Aquaduct Pond is located a few hundred meters south of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the original Brooks Aquaduct approximately 8 km SE of Brooks Alberta. There are signs directing you to its location. The easiest way to find it is to turn south at the Petro Canada fuel station west of Brooks on the Trans-Canada Highway #1.

Brooks Aquaduct Pond

This pond is stocked annually with with rainbow trout and offers good angling all year around. There are many Perch located in this small pond as well.

This pond, due to it's close proximity to town and all weather access makes it fairly popular with local fishermen or the ocasional weekend warrior type anglers.

Brooks Aquadect Pond

I often head to this little lake with my fly rod and a box full of hoppers in the evenings during summer. I can often catch fifteen trout in the hour before dark. Its a fun time, although the fish in the lake seem to change there habbits more ofen than in some larger water bodies.

The boat launch is on the south side of the pond and only electric motors are allowed to be used.
