Walleye Recipes For You To Enjoy!

BEER BATTERED WALLEYE

On of my favorite walleye recipes. Beer Battered Walleye. Here is a tasty way to make your beer batter. I usually use whatever beer is in the fridge at the time. Some beers make better batter, others not. You will have to try it to see what you like.

INGREDIENTS

Flour 1/3 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Cornstarch 1 1/3 cup
Egg 1
Sour Cream 1/3 cup
Beer 1 can

In one bowl mix all the dry ingredients together. In a different bowl mix the wet ingredients with the exception of the beer together. Then combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix together. After they are mixed well add the beer a few. The mixture will be very thick. Keep cool until ready to use. Dip fish pieces in batter and deep fry until they are golden brown and starting to float.
